- Depression: While men and women may experience depression differently, people generally feel sad, tired and do not get pleasure from the things they used to enjoy. Feelings of hopelessness or a loss of motivation Can indicate male depression.
- Identity: Societal expectations and roles are in flux. Men may have been raised to exhibit a certain “macho” exterior and may be currently experiencing an identity crisis. I will work with you toward narrating an authentic identity wherein you can thrive.
- Life transitions: Everyone experiences changes and with some, additional support these changes can be helpful. Men may wish to seek therapy when becoming a new parent, ending or beginning an intimate partner relationship, job or career change, or other transitions.
